Skagen Nordstrand
Skagen North Beach (2014).
The northernmost point of Denmark. From a Danish perspective, this can be considered a virgin landscape predominantly shaped by the sea and wind but also by the slow upheave of the land, rising several millimeters per year. The shape of the landscape is dominated by the dopper-rimme phenomenon, where topographic lines in the landscape mark the slow progression of its formation. Although in this sense unspoiled nature, the manmade is none the less visible and a conditioning factor.
