A grand and ambitious bookwork that brings together contemporary masterpieces in Danish architecture. Based on ten buildings by ten design studios, 'New Danish Architecture' is a milestone that focuses on what makes Danish architecture something special in these years. Through interviews, essays, new photographic footage, and a wealth of drawing material, the book provides a solid insight into what underlies the new golden age of Danish architecture. The book is a combined edition of the book series 'New Danish Architecture 1-10', which has been published over the past five years. With its 992 pages, the work is the largest comprehensive documentation of the latest Danish architecture. The book is written by Kristoffer Lindhardt Weiss, graphic design is by Studio Atlant, and photography is by Rasmus Hjortshøj.

Territories Of Entanglement

In TOPOS 104, 2018, Rasmus Hjortshøj from the architectural research and photography studio COAST writes about the challenges of the Danish coast – challenges that coastal societies and planners are facing in the present and displays the corresponding images of his photo projects. The article describes the entanglement of Anthropocene territories and the challenges arising when nature and culture blend. The article is illustrated with images from the research project ‘Territories of Entanglement’.
